Seatbelt Laws = Fucking Stupid
My safety should be my own decision. It’s not up to the government to “protect” me from my decisions. I’m not hurting anyone else by not wearing one, so the government needs to back off… Inspired by the ever-so-annoying “Click it or Ticket” commercials.

Except, why wouldn’t you want to wear it? The way I see it, the law is like saying “It is legal to eat apples.” I wear a seatbelt anyway so I don’t care about the law and it doesn’t affect me. But seriously, why is it such a big deal?
Because I shouldn’t have to be forced to wear one with the threat of fines. I’m not hurting anyone else by not wearing one, so what business is it of the state if I choose not to wear it? I personally prefer not wearing a seatbelt.
Yes, the laws are stupid, but it’s a safety precaution. The laws are there to make sure people use them. They may be uncomfortable but they can save your life. It’s common sense.
